That dude actually owns NeoGAF though unlike SBAllen with GameFAQs. It seems like the man himself is shutting his own site down due to many of the mods and stuff leaving in protest and that being all anyone was talking about on the boards. Seems like he's just butthurt that he's lost control of his own creation so he shut it down.
SBAllen on the other hand wouldn't have that kind of power, he'd simply be fired by CBSi who owns the site.

Aren't they just allegations? Seems reactionary.

Waypoint talked to the mods. A big issue is how slow EviLore is with handling this sorta stuff. The mods were sick of taking it on their own and waiting for him to respond publicly. It also sounds like they didn't like what he was saying to them privately.

There was an issue a few months prior with an ex-mod for NeoGAF being arrested for pedophilia. He handled that poorly too. He is overall hands off with the site unless he has something specific to do. So this was the final straw.

If this was just a one off story and he was quick to take responsibility for it this would have went down a lot better. Instead he has bragged about similar creep behavior in the past, handles this stuff really badly every time, shut down the entire forum and then proceeds to blame everyone else but himself for it.
