I dunno how people can tell those games apart.

Besides like Hyrule and Fire Emblem Warriors, they all seem the same to me and I played a few of them.

I always used the mage like people though, Zhuge and Sima, but the games just....ugh. I mean looking back on them sure I liked them, and I'll probably play this Fire Emblem version a fair bit, but I can't for the life of me tell the difference between each game I played, so the ones where I beat my mates in multiplayer, then the next one where we co-oped the whole thing on hard....nfi which ones I actually played.

People can say what they want about Call of Duty and Pokemon, but in terms of "Copying/Pasting" games Omega-Force is the king of that shit and nobody even comes close.
DW3 was the first one I played and I loved it. But I played more entries into the series and they just felt like the exact same game at the core with very little changes. And there's a shitload of Dynasty Warriors games. So checked out other games that they've done and the gameplay is, again, like Dynasty Warriors. At this point, it's pretty lazy.

Even when they get licensed games, it'll just play exactly like Dynasty Warriors but with the skin of the license they're using like Zelda, One Piece and Fist of the North Star. At least they had the decency to call their Gundam games Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.

Every once in a while, they'll try something a little different.

In Dynasty Warriors Online it was annoying as shit to 1v1 during a battle because as soon as the other person is losing they start running away and theres little you can do to kill em

Unless you had Gan Ning's moveset and you run their ass over with your musou while theyre running

You'd have to be extra percise to pull that off, because he dashes forward at the start of it for a bit and he's really janky to control when he's doing that.

Meanwhile, Guan Yu have the best weapon in the game that does godlike damage and he can fuck you over from his couch because the reach was ridiculous. He would probably push Gan Ning's shit in before he even got his musou.

Which makes it especially easier for him to deal with a single person, what with all of his wide ranged attacks.

Ning's musou isn't going to one shot someone (an officer) unless he's able to keep them in corner or something from the sprint at the start of it and the flurry at the end. And even then, the running part have knock back, so if you're going to come back for them again you have to compromise with how he controls during it. His musuo is primarily meant to literally run through crowds of people, not focus down a single character.

In DW3, regular and versus modes have vastly different defenses. This is because the AI enemy gets its defensive stat primarily from your defensive stats while in versus the defenses go from the base character defenses which are pretty low. So while gan ning doesnt OHK officers in regular in versus he does most
