I don't even know of any new ones being made. all the ones i heard of ended up getting canceled. like the World of Darkness mmo. and the ones in existence seem to all be on life support other than WoW.

MMOs died a long time ago. They've basically evolved into shared world shooters (such as The Division, Destiny, Anthem, etc) where you have that same persistent character, focus on grinding/reward, etc but you can make it a more engaging/cinematic experience and attract people who wouldnt normally play these types of games

Besides WoW you got FFXIV, ESO, Eve, BDO, GW2.
Contrast that to 10 years ago where you just had WoW and whatever "WoW killer" came out that month only to go F2P and die by 2009. --- As a Level 37 Sage, I expect to be treated with proper respect and acknowledged for my dedication to the GameFAQs Message Board Community as a whole.
