At that size bugs wouldn't be enough to sustain them so they would be looking at small animals like small dog breeds and cats to eat.

If they are great dane sized then humans could be on the menu.

Also spider silk is very strong materiel, with the that size of spiders the webs would be hard if not impossible to break out of if you walked into one.
