In some manner, yes, I would pay for a lot of aid for causes I care about and can meaningfully improve.

But there would still be a ton of money let for myself. It's easier to donate hundreds of millions when you're a millionaire than it is to donate a few bucks when you're in debt and have less than $5,000 in assets.
