I can't think think any other time it's disrespectful. Hell, you get on one knee to propose to the love of your life. Name me a time outside the Anthem where it's offensive to kneel.

If a football player never kneeled at all to protest police brutality to American Americans in this country, would kneeling for the anthem he offensive at all? Most likely not. It's a narrative being pushed as a distraction from what the real issue was when he took that knee.

No one wants to talk about these problems in America so we come up with irrelevant distractions to avoid the issue.
