Cloud +He is a gaming icon; Mr. JRPG himself, being arguably the best choice to rep his series and the genre. He also fulfilled a decades-long meme among gamers by being included in Smash. -Cloud himself has had a very spotty record on Nintendo platforms, only appearing in spinoffs where his actual game(s) have never touched Nintendo platforms. Bayonetta +A very stylish fighter from a stylish action series, she embodies the close bond that Nintendo appears to have with developer PlatinumGames. She also won the Smash Ballot, being voted in by the fans. -BECAUSE she's in due to the Ballot, she's the only third party character who is not as iconic as the others in Smash (nowhere near, actually).
