Board 8 > I went to go visit the Rickmobile today

it kinda sucked because all the events consisted of just waiting in line to buy merch or to take a picture of the van with no entertainment nor festivities to keep the waiting from being painful


Ironically the line to take a pic with the actual car was the shortest when we arrived, then became by FAR the longest as time went on



They announced that the lines were supposed to close at 9 pm, but they were gonna extend it for 30 more minutes. I was around 20 people away from the last merch tent at 9. I would've been pissed if they closed it on us >_>

A fellow brown man came up to me and was like "Yo dawg, I'll buy you any one thing you want if you let me cut"

....k. I did it and he bought me a shirt.

its a little hard to explain but the line looped around. the same line I was in wrapped around a few times and people that were way further down the line were immediately to my left at arm's length.


I started to tell those people if they give me 20 bucks, they can cut

I earned 300 bucks >_>

people behind me apparently didn't give a shit, I find it hard they didn't see it happening, and like I said, there was nothing going on at all on behalf of the staff so none of the employees noticed either



so yea, with everybody screaming wubba dubbas and pickle ricks every few seconds for the entire 3 hours, My conclusion is that Rick and Morty Fans are fucking idiots




but yea, with this extra cash, this is gonna be a great birthday month!

R and M is lovable in a bunch of different ways. I imagine it's pretty exciting to be surrounded by people who love the same "niche" thing you do. That's the impression I got this summer with Pokemon Go anyway.

I went to see the Rickmobile a month or so ago when it stopped at Berkeley. The line was so long that it took us like five minutes of walking just to find the end.

We decided that it was not even worth half that wait and went into the brewery it was parked at for some beers instead.

Overall, pretty good trip because I like that brewery and there were some pretty decent costumes.
