Books List 2017

Slade House – David Nicholls
Licks of Love – John Updike
Lonesome Traveller – Jack Koreauc
The Ballad of the Lonely Café and Other Stories – Carson McCullers
Zero K – Don DeLillo
America America – some guy
The Waves – Virginia Woolf
Anna Karenina – Leo Tolstoy
What We Talk About When We Talk About Love – Raymond Carver
Submission – Michelle Holleobeqc
Big Sur – Jack Koreauc
The Subterraneans – Jack Koreauc
Postcards from the Edge - Carrie Fisher
Men Without Women – Huraki Mukakami
Platform – Michele Houllebecq

15 books. I guess that's okay for September. Probably read 20 - 25 by the end of the year. I used to read 50+ a year, though. My favourites were Big Sur, by Koreacu, Submission and Platform, both by Houllebecq, and Anna Karenina, by Tolstoy. Pretty good books, although none were great. The most important book to avoid is WWTAWWTAL, which was dreadful, especially since it's considered to be a "classic". Everthing else was either bad, okay, or kinda good.

What have you been reading this year? What do you think of the books I've posted?

move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

That sounds like a pretty 2-dimensional book.
