English. I know a lot of random information because of the large amount of books I read in elementary school and middle school. Reading helps you to learn facts, understand different viewpoints you might not have considered and helps you to become more imaginative. And writing essays for class teaches you the important life skill of bullshitting and just giving people what they want to hear.

Language Arts is by far the subject that is given the most importance Probably because it's the easiest class of all. Or maybe it's because they teach you the same things over and over again until you finally graduate from high school. Math up through middle school imo is the most important. Along with english.
