it's a little rough around the edges as one would expect of the first entry in a long running series, but it's a good proof of concept of what the series eventually becomes.

Yeah Yakuza one was a diamond in the rough. Loved it but couldn't bring myself to play through a second time. I need to play three and on at some point so can't speak for the rest.
Is this gonna be a yakuza series playthrough topic?
