Most store brand items are just relabeled brand named items.

correct, but walmarts stuff typically isn't.

the only other thing i can figure out is that their bread is made by saralee

or hillshire, since i think that's what saralee has been renamed to in america

now if only they'd change to coke or pepsi for their soda, because cott beverages is ass.

This. Wal-mart brand pasta is not bad, but it's off. Buy the spaghetti and it swells up like thick spaghetti, can't imagine what the thick spaghetti is like. So far, every grocery store generic does this, but buy a name like Barilla and this doesn't happen.
