Here's how I did it:

- Lord Forrester dies
- Ethan dies
- Rodrik dies (stays behind to save Asher)
- Mira dies (executed in last chapter)
- Duncan dies
- That evil Lannister guard dies
- Lady Forrester dies
- Betray Gwyn
- Betray Margaery
- Betray Cersei
- Chill with Tyrion (he doesn't end up helping much anyway, though. Lame)
- Kill Gryff
- Gared spends the entire game going to North Grove, then I'm all "naw, let's leave"
- Asher's sellswords all die
- Ironrath completely besieged by Whitehills (after pretending to marry Gwyn, then ambushing them).

Just one big LOL at the plot in this game. I don't even want to play a second season, because it'll just be another repeat of "hey, no on in Ironrath has any men so we can't do any type of useful offensive". I think it's just Asher, Beshka, Talia, the Sentinel and Gared's troop of blood magickers alive at this point. I thought naming a chapter "The Ice Dragon" would include a friggin' ice dragon helping me, but naw. Let's lose all ancestral land and have most family members die in vain. Pretty cool.

GoT is easily the worst TT game especially if you follow the show.

IIRC, they invented everything about House Forrester from a single passing reference in the novels, so it's not super terrible, just noncanon. It's just a lot of frustration as everybody exists to offer a binary choice. I can buy things in the show like "my little birdies told me blahblah about you," but as a game mechanic or plot device, it's friggin' terrible.

But anyway, out of all the Telltale games I've played, the Monkey Island ones are still the best. I like having some actual gameplay, not "press X to pick up weed" or "press forward to walk down corridor for three seconds".

i forget, is the game based on the book story or the show? like i remember them mentioning that "Forrester" was some house mentioned in the big ol' name appendix at the end of one of the books, but then also the characters all look like the tv show actors/actresses and not the book descriptions

According to a wiki, Forrester is mentioned as a minor house to Deepwood Motte or something. They exist canonically -- they just haven't been elaborated on. IIRC, they're exiled or something. No wonder, considering how stupid most act in this game. They literally let Ludd Whitehill, the fattest man in the entire game, run from the great hall (despite barring the doors and preparing everything in advance) and survive. Iron from ice? More like iron from idiocy.

The show. They use the actors and it's set during season 2/3 IIRC.

Yeah it's total crap. Choices feel completely meaningless. Especially when dealing with that rival house. Hell I'm pretty sure it outright ignores a decision to let the leader guy walk into your base.

That one was a complete waste of time. I easily regard it among TellTale's worst.

their biggest mistake was placing it with the show continuity so you can't actually change anything but still interact with Tyrion, Ramsey, etc

that and falling for the "lol everyone dies" meme

as I understand they still did it with supervision from GRRM and his approval
It may not be in the books, but wouldn't say it's "non-canon"

Yeah, whoever is running Ironrath's main gate needs to be executed. There's at least one time where Ramsay enters the city alone and the gate shuts after him, but then later on, a bunch of his men run in and they do whatever they want. The hell?

Yeah, it felt disappointing overall. At least that other Game of Thrones game on PS3 had some okay action and conflict. (That one wasn't great either, but still slightly better.)

I had no idea what Game of Thrones was when I started playing that game... after finishing the game I was so curious about who the starks were and everything that I actually started watching the show because of the game

I thought Game of Thrones was some kind of Pride and Prejudice kind of thing before getting into it
