At the end of the red ribbon arc, Goku leaps up and snatches his grandpa's ball before they all fly off. If there were a group of seven people they could all snatch one ball and make sure they already have the full set next year. Do that seven times till the group is all immortal, then do whatever other wishes you want

By early Z one Z-warrior should be fast enough to snatch all seven balls out of the air before they can get away.

By end of Z they could just have Supreme Kai put a katchin cage around that shit. All seven, eternally bound together.

Of course, this is barring the fact that they are animated by Shenron, who is a physical being and could teleport the balls anywhere if he thought you were using loophole abuse.

I always wondered, doesn't Shenron get tired of being summoned by the same few guys all the time?

Even if they did that it wouldn't change the fact that the Dragon Balls lose their power for 1 year or so after use. So you can't just snatch them all out of the air and use them infinitely.

I don't know why they didn't use the dragon balls for more practical things other then revival.

I mean it'd be way more helpful if they had some wish that gave everyone the Sayian's trait of getting stronger after near death experiences. Krillin and Yamcha would be practically gods if that were the case.
