I find myself a rocket jumping server on TF2 and grind out maps. The rhythm I fall into when I hit my groove is a way to just stop thinking about things and focus purely on the mechanics.

Strategy, mostly. Like Paradox/Crusader Kings games. Sometimes something Dwarf Fortress-like, maybe Rimworld or something. Anything to make me focus on some sort of puzzle for a little while.

rhythm games, sometimes simple games of any genre that are easy to do good at or party games but mostly rhythm games because you get to both listen to music and play a game at the same time
