I like the Starbucks frappuccinos but they are more than $5 recently. I go more to Dunkin' now.

I go to starbucks too but due to the rewards app, employee perks (such as free refill on the way home) and being making friends with the Baristas (occasional free/upgraded size drink), its a little more manageable.

This. I often study for 6-8 hours a day. Libraries are so quiet and soul shattering. Home works sometimes, but I'm never as productive.

A coffee shop is just enough stimulation. But many of the "better" ones would cost me an arm and a leg to go regularly. A starbucks tall green tea is $2.11. Second drink is a free cold brew coffee refill, subsequently from then on from the rewards app.

And you're totally right about the baristas who know you hooking you up. Often times they just give me a "refill" to start and it's pretty much free for the day.

Every time I drink Dunkin's iced coffee, I feel like I'm going to go into a hyperosmolar hyperglycemic coma.

In comparison yes. I just want to avoid what happened that summer where I spent about $300 on Starbucks frappuccinos.

They were fantastic for keeping me alert after work when I was taking 3 hour art classes every day. I tried the coffee place on the same block as the school (Gregory's Coffee) but it didn't help much and didn't taste good.

I don't really like coffee outside of the iced Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee that they sell at the store.

a buddy is about to open up his own shop, though, and I might check it out.

Frappucinos have far less caffeine than regular coffee. They also taste good because it's practically sugar ice cream.

They still kept me more alert than other things I tried.

I make coffee for myself every morning. I use italian roast from starbucks.

If I'm out and about I'll get an iced coffee from starbucks for the most part. When I lived in NYC I'd get a deli coffee every morning on my way to the subway, nothing better.
