It was one of the few games on my Steam wishlist to survive a purge of games on it that I was no longer interested in. Has good art. Need to get it.

The thing is I generally hate rougeish games. They did this one well though.

It's very easy to make a roguish game boring as hell with the often monocolored dungeons, lack of character interaction/dialogue, and repetitive gameplay.
