The most recent DOOM game made me resent Gearbox so much for being shit developers.

That fast paced playstyle would fit the Duke Nukem games absolutely perfectly. Add in some clever one-liners and pop-culture references and you'd have a gem of a game.

The new Doom is just all around fantastic. There will never be another game quite like Doom, that was just lightning in a bottle, but that and a few other recent games have brought that fast paced style back.
