I've never had a Publix sub. I would imagine they are on par with subs from Harris Teeter because they have the same deli meats. Today they have cheap subs because it is Friday. I might get one.
Publix Commercials are terrible so I prefer Harris Teeter.

Places like Subway and so on basically just get shipments of lunchmeat and that's it. The stuff they use in publix is cut from their own shit so it's the store brand deli meat which is basically boar's head generic equivalents.

They actually give you a choice between Boar's Head and Publix brand, and I always go with Publix because it costs less and I can't really tell the difference.

But yeah it's a full deli where people go to buy meat and cheese, and the same stuff that's on the shelf is what goes into the sandwiches. It operates differently than a restsurant.
