Too bloody strong, it gets really addicting dropping 60 orbs hunting for your characters. At least I haven't fallen to the dark side in buying orbs.

If there's one thing Fire Emblem Heroes has, it's a surplus of waifus.

I'm a F2P player, but I've gotten pretty lucky with drops. I got Ike on my very first pull when the Path of Radiance banner was up. Couldn't get a Soren though.

Then during Hero Fest, I got two Azuras and a Takumi. But no Hector.

During the first Shadows of Valentia, I got both Lukas and Fae. But no Alm.

And during this latest Mage Banner, I got Julia.

It's a gacha game that borders on below average and average. It was released with so little content that most early adopters got bored and quit. But they still have like 200k-300k regular players I would wager, just based on their horrible voting event thing.

They've been doing janky solutions to patch up some of their extremely glaring and not well thought out problems, like rather than making events repeatable... they give you a 1 time reward and just create extra missions for any additional copies of the free units. It's a very anti-repeatable design they're going for, and that's not what gacha games are about.

Basically, their philosophy started wrong, but they're ultimately just doing the same thing as other gacha games but worse.

I'm pulling every free red orb I can to try and get Celica to round out my magic triangle, but I'm not expecting to get her. Damn rates are too low. I was just going to stop playing if I didn't pull Julia when I did.

My team is pretty well rounded overall, but they all have terrible natures and I'm hoping some improvements will present themselves.

That said, I can't complain because my team is super good now and I get 4700+ in the arena every week

But I want the waifus, man....

Mae's stat gains are pretty solid, too. For context, Camilla has 39 str, 26 def, 25 spd, and 30 res at level 38.



Desperation also allows you to use your follow up immediately after your first attack if below an HP level. Not as good as Camilla's, but still good. That spell of hers, though...

It increases your stats based on number of adjacent allies x2.

Mae is great. Her skill is bad, but her stats are really good. What IV did you get though?

I did 3 full pulls and ended up with four 5stars. Mae, Julia, Celica, and Caede. I'm hoping for a Raven to finish my skill inheritance on Cherche, but I'll need to get 7 more orbs.

Just started last week. >_>

Every character has a boon and bane. You can have two of the same character with different stats.
It actually makes a huge difference too. A bad bane can ruin a character etc

I have Roy+, Mae, and Camilla. Need to decide which one I'm going to increase to 5*.

You can't now unless you kept track of your stat gains, but don't worry about it.

You'll be able to tell when you max Mae out or close to when she's maxed. The stat ups are random, but the max stats are predetermined to match the base stats + ~3 Boon - ~3 Bane

the best thing to do when you pull a character is to check the wiki while the character is level 1.

I mean this matters way more if you have two or more of them and you're deciding which to keep/use

That's her worst IV, but it's not a big deal >_>

I wonder which is better, attack or speed bane. This boon and bane stuff annoys the hell out of me. Mainly because I keep pulling good characters with bad B/B.

Reminds me a lot of the IV system in Pokémon.

Depends on the character. In Mae's case, she's better with +Attack. her best IV is probably +Attack -Defense.


Plenty of characters, like Setsuna, Hana, Nino etc would rather have +Speed

Characters like Healers and Dancers also would rather have +Speed for defensive reasons.

Every character is different. Reinhardt and Effie are best with -Spd and healers are best with -Atk. Some characters are the best with + Def like Lukas

Damn good stat ups. Already nearly as much strength as Camilla. Probably won't touch Roy's 44.

The funny part is Roy and Camilla have the same attack, it's just that the Brave Axe is very weak

Sucks for me. With the last few banners, I've only pulled Mist as a 5*.

But 4x attacks when initiating combat and you can double attack.

I have Camilla and she's too slow to 4 times an enemy.

I have Darting Blow on mine and Seal Speed and even then.


I still like her though because boobs

I have a +ATK -HP Camilla. Pretty decent.
