Every time I bring the car in for maintenance they write "NOT CLEAN" in big red letters on the invoice.

Last week I took the car to a car wash at 9 AM so that it would be sparkling clean for my 10 AM appointment.

Once again, I got "NOT CLEAN" in big red letters on my invoice.

Add that to the fact that their shuttle service can't take you further than 1 mile (I live two miles away so it's too far for their shuttle and they won't drive me back home). They don't reimburse me for the taxi ride home either.

And then to make matters worse every single service (I have to go every 6000 miles) costs around 400 bucks because every time there's something special that has to be done as recommended by the Toyota maintenance schedule.

I've had it.

Next time I take my car to the next door garage that's within 5 minutes walking distance and I ask them to take over and I say bye bye to Toyota.

Dammit guys.

Toyotas are easy to work on tho, you can take them to any mechanic.

Well at first it was because I had free oil changes

It was still like 400 bucks each time despite the "free oil change"

But I'm done. Never going back there.

I've never got "not clean" written on my invoice. They always wash the outside for me (which is kind of annoying because I don't like the smell of their soap). And the cleaning is free.

They always offer me a free rental for the day if it's going to take more than an hour.

Prices and what needs to be fixed can vary depending on a lot of factors. Maybe your car/truck/van is getting old or you drive it too rough?

Your Toyota dealership sounds like it sucks.

Well it's a 2014 corolla and has about 50k miles. I don't drive rough at all actually I barely ever go above the speed limit (my passengers usually bug me to go faster instead of slow down) and I always break super slowly

But there's always something... like, oh at X amount of miles we have to change the transmission fluid that costs X, and at X amount of miles we have to do this and that to the breaks, which costs X, etc. It never ends. I bought that car in 2013 and not a single time was the maintenance just an oil change, they always insisted that there was a billion things that had to be done as per the maintenance schedule

Nothing really. It's apparently the regular maintenance schedule as recommended by Toyota. I know what it sounds like.
