It's a comedy series, and while there is the occasional nugget of hard truth in the vids, the creators are well aware that they're nitpicking just for laughs. Anyone who takes CinemaSins as legitimate criticism deserves to be similarly laughed at.

I mean I've watched a couple of their videos and they do have some merit to some complaints, but it's kind of stupid to make a 10 minute video of "this didn't do this enough!!!! lolololol!"

I like when Cinemasins and Cinemawins get into a fun little jab contest, or cover the same movie at almost the same time.

It's done in the style of a roast. So there's supposed to be plenty of truthful sting in it (the old 'it's funny because it's true' angle), mixed with doses of more random humor to keep things lighter, so that the roast doesn't turn into a rip.

I like CinemaSins and have seen most of their videos (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is my favorite), but ultimately I prefer Honest Trailers for my pop-culture criti-comedy.

tbf, a lot of those "sins" I pointed out when I first saw the movie, noting them to be weird.

Especially Strange trying to punch that guy, him not believing in magic when that's what he was told in the first place, and why we should be sympathetic to him when he was driving like a fucking idiot.
