My dad originally bought the NES when it first came out. I had no idea what it was but we both played quite often

With SNES he kinda stopped but he was always down for Contra or NBA Jam

Only game he played on the N64 was Mario Kart (which he loved)

Then he was done until CoD 2 and Modern Watfare 2. Was on them for awhile but hasn't played since then I don't think

My mom never played because she got motion sick

my parents HATED video games, thought they were a huge waste of time etc

for some reason my dad beat Super Metroid on SNES though, that's probably why I love the franchise so much, because I vividly remember watching him play

Back when they were simpler.

My Dad would play as Tails and I would play as Sonic and we'd run through Sonic 3 and Knuckles. He had the patterns to the bonus levels memorized, so we'd always get Super Sonic/Ultra Tails/Hyper Knuckles by the third level or so.

My dad plays the card games that come with the computer that I don't understand.

My mother tried to play Mario Kart 64 with my sister and me once. She fell off of Moo-Moo Farm. I didn't even know that was possible.

dad would occasionally game with us; some easy wii party games, dr mario, and tetris are about as far as he went. Rarely/never solo play.

Mom didn't, but knows lots of old final fantasy tunes by heart because that's what'd be blaring in the living room.

Only my dad and not that much

When I was very young I used to watch my dad play Wolfenstein 3D and take turns (I remember not actually progressing at all). Then before Christmas mornings when I was too excited to sleep my dad would also play multiplayer games with me all night. Last time we played games together was back in 03 or 04 with football games and taking turns running over civilians in Grand Theft Auto

My dad and I played a few computer games together when I was growing up

The one I remember most is Descent II, which was a 6DOF first person shooter game back in the 90s. Since I was too young to understand most of the controls, I was tasked with one simple mission: when I see an enemy, press spacebar to shoot a missile. To my credit I did that very well; and I also helped with reasoning through some of the trickier hidden secrets in the levels of that game.

Really great memories. I wish he had continued to play games with me but he just never really kept up with it
