While I have used it to find models, some of the models told me that there are a lot of awesome odd jobs on there. I might start looking for gigs to make some extra money.

Bought numerous car parts and electronics off Craigslist. Even bought my current car off it three years ago.

I've bought and sold various things off Craigslist. Always meet in a public area or at a police station. If they don't want to, say no thanks.

I've sold cars on craigslist. I've bought cars off craigslist. I've sold games, consoles, and old furniture. My old job before med school I applied to from craigslist (at a pediatric office, $18/hr, full time with benefits, extremely easy work, kind of a "self developed" position so I pretty much had full autonomy).

Craigslist is great.
