Sounds racist af but true. I work downtown 90 percent of the time and its most apparent there than anywhere else


I drove past a mainly mexican/black area. Empty lots littered to shit, currency exchanges and liquor stores every 2 feet. Tons of people hanging out at 7am on the sidewalks doing nothing.

I drove past a fucking 50ft bridge, not even half a street length. It was like a movie lol. Couple hipsters walking around with coffee. Dudes running, ladys walking small dogs. High end restaurants and nice apartment complexes. Tons of people waiting for trains/buses

God bless yall. Thank god i left the hood after middle school

My family aside from my parents and me are never going to get ahead. Theyve all lived in the same houses in 26th street Chicago for the last 20 years and dont plan on moving. Wives dont work, and theyre still paying for their families in Mexico

I got lucky my mom ended up owning the company she works for and my dad went from a factory worker to the only minority to survive automation, nows hes head of QA.

My white girlfriends family they have 401ks, retirement money, theyre loaded. That'll be the day a mexican in my family besides me knows what an ira is
