While a few people can be obnoxious or rude for no apparent reason (upbringing? immaturity? annonymity?), overall it does have a sense of community. You do feel like we care about each other's lives and well-being.

The huge boner a lot seem to get when something political happens.

To me everyone here is real, I prefer spending my time here than with nonsense television shows with pretentious celebrities as being my preferred method to spend my free time.

I enjoy the atmosphere here, and there is a lot of toxicity, but there's also a lot of lightheartedness and there are those who know not to take things too seriously, but also know how to be mature if a certain situation calls for it, and I think certain individuals here know the difference and know when to put comic relief aside for the sake of discussing real life matters that are important and not games.

Many people may have alts, but in general I find everyone here to be their own persona, and it's as if they are their own character. It's a ragtag bunch of misfits, but it's still who people really are, including all their virtues and faults.

I have a mental picture of everyone here, not a physical one, just according to their persona.

Many people contribute a lot of useful and helpful topics and posts, there have been an amazing amount of things that I have been newly exposed to and discovered thanks to the hundreds of users here, in both little things and big things.

I also associate certain users here with being particularly knowledgeable on certain matters. Some are very knowledgeable of comics, some of art and photography, some in food and cuisine, some in foreign culture and travel, some in politics, some in law, some in cars, some in computers, and some in exercise and diet.

I find them to all be useful, and for those who may not be expert in any field, they bring a tremendous sense of humor to them, which is sometimes much needed, and they in particular keep me coming back every time because they always amuse me in some way.

Get some news articles, learn from other people, some topics which offer slight amusement and some pure comedy gold, and majority here are nice.
