The Twilight Saga is a horrible excuse of a movie series (the books were okay). I don't watch them but because of that the rest of my family does meaning that if I don't have my headphones on I have to listen to the entire movie :( They really shouldn't use this to promote Valentine's Day.

I watched Breaking Dawn pt 1 the other day. Never read any of the books, but I know the general story. It wasn't that bad... even though it was extremely drawn out considering only like 3 things actually happened, and it was 2 hours long. Still, I've seen worse movies. The worst part was the CG that looked straight out of 2005.

You need to watch the first movie next. It's one of the best so-bad-it's-good films ever.

The only other one I've seen was New Moon, which was sadly devoid of amusing cheesiness. It was just... really dull.

I mean, both are awful, but

The movies can at least range from so-bad-it's-funny to "Meh, not the worst thing ever."

The books are just... No.

The movies are automatically less offensive because I don't have to do anything to experience the awfulness. Like I just sit there and it's on, whatever. But a bad BOOK, I have to sit there and put in the effort of READING it. Terrible!

Yet another fundamental problem with this ad.

Any "woman" young enough to enjoy- truly not ironically enjoy that movie probably can't be having sex legally. And most women older than that target age range are not going to feel particularly romantic by the movie's end.

I was not kidding when I said the movie ends with child birth, implied pedophilia, and death in that order. Does not exactly set the mood.

I watched the first movie to see what it was like. I've definitely seen worse movies. The thing is, there was no flow, all vampire lore was thrown out the window, the characters sucked and the story made no sense.

I definitely though during the movie that actually having to read this dialogue and read the narration would be ****ing excruciating. But watching the movie isn't so bad.
