And I'm inclined to agree.

I can't cook for shit, but I put that stuff on almost everything I make and it ends up coming out delicious. Need to grab some more from the farmer's market.

That's what I was getting at, yes.

It reminds me how bodybuilders used to think they couldn't add any spice to things, so they ended up eating chicken, broccoli, and rice every meal with no seasonings. That sounds like hell to me.

Its only cheating if it makes the meal incredibly unhealthy. Like, dousing things in oils and fats and frying them is cheating. Adding seasonings though? No.

It's a seasoning, just like any other. You don't consider it "cheating" to use salt, butter, or sugar in your food. So why do you think that way when it comes to msg?

Now, overusing all of those other things absolutely is cheating, because it is going to make you fat as fuck.
