For example, let's use wrestling. He doesn't really care for it. In fact, we talk mad shit about wrestling sometimes. But if we're hanging out with someone who actually have an actual interest in wrestling, he'll do this complete flip and conversate with them as if he have a genuine interest in wanting to learn more about wrestling, famous wrestlers, Vince McMahon, etc.

I've always kind of admired that about him. It seems like a very useful extroverted quality to have. Whenever I'm in a group setting and a subject that I don't know much about or don't care for comes up, I kind of go quiet and wait until I have an opportunity to make some kind of remark.

It's a good social quality to have. He loves to roast it with you (someone not interested) just as much as he is to praise it with people who are. However, I always find that friends of mine who display this behavior tend to be rather shifty or hard to nail down. A few drops of depression, and bam, they have no identity.

I wouldn't say it's extroverted though. If he can amass knowledge on tons of subjects like you're saying, then he probably spends a lot of time looking stuff up and acquiring info on interesting shit so he can keep up in social settings.

My mind is an open book, do you find it entertaining? At least be original in your responses then.

An even better example; he very vocally doesn't like Star Wars at all, in any shape or form. He makes it crystal clear that he doesn't fuck with that franchise at all.
However, we have a friend who is a HUGE Star Wars fan. This dude lives, breathes, eat Star Wars. I'm confident in saying that he knows damn near everything there is to know about Star Wars. If he's on the subject about Star Wars, you can't stop him.

So whenever he's talking about Star Wars he goes on and on to the point where he's talking about stuff that I don't know shit about, like the expanded books stuff and how they're related to people's back stories in Knights of the Old Republic or whatever, and pulling up boring YouTube videos on the stuff.
I would tune the absolute fuck out. But my friend, the guy who openly hates Star Wars, he would be keeping up with him the whole time as if he's interested in it all. He'd be like, "Tell me more about how this character did that," or "What's the time line and is it the same as when this happened and that".
I don't know how the man does it, but it's impressive to watch.

It really depends, but I wouldn't really consider myself an introvert. Like I said above, in a group setting I have this bad habit of kind of going silent whenever people start talking about things I don't really know anything about/have no interest in.
That or I just resort to talking shit when it's something I know they like and they know I don't like lol (i.e. Adventure time).
