I'm walking home from my mom's place and on the way to the bus stop, I'm about to walk past the two dudes. Both look like they were (or, ateast, should be in high school)
One of them is like, "Do you got a dollar?"
I say no and keep walking.

So now the dude who asked for a dollar is behind me, but his friend is now in front of me because he didn't keep walking forward. This dude got his fist clentched and shit. So now I'm between the two of them and the other dude asked again, "Can I borrow a dollar?," I tell him no again.
I get close enough to the other dude in front of me and he starts spazing out or whatever like he saw something that got him excited. Like, imagine a giddy, hyper active kid kind of bouncing around in place. He starts calling out to the dude behind me and they just run off in the direction they were heading. So I continue on my way.

That was a really odd encounter.

Of course I'm cautious of my surroundings, this isn't exactly a fantastic neighborhood. Robberies and shit happen pretty often, drug dealers are all over the place, two dudes (shooting at each other nearby) shot into my room once a few years ago. I made a topic about it and everything. I love my mom but I hate the neighborhood, so I'm often conflicted about visiting.

Anyway, these two guys were black, but the real cancer to this neighborhood are the Vietnamese street gangs.

race is not a factor if someone plans to steal... though once got told sob story trying to get money off me. wasn't buying any of that ****. if needed a ride home police station gives salvation army bus tickets could get ride into the next town that next morning.
