It's just something I notice. This irrational hatred that people seem to have towards female celebrities that are outspoken about their views on feminism and issues surrounding women.
A lot of times, it can be someone who is well liked, but a lot of people seem to turn against her when she begin to touch on this subject often.

Amy Schumer
Ronda Rousey
Emma Watson
Merly Streep
Sarah Silverman

Those are a few that pop into my head when I think about this. When some people see some of those names they just foam at the mouth and when something unfortunate happens to them, they take great pleasure out of it as if it was something personal.

"It's not because of that, it's because they're not good at whatever it is they do."
Sure.

What gimmick? You must have me confused with someone else. And there's someone that actually pretends to be that vegetable?

Amy Schumer built her career on vagina jokes and her STD sexual encounters. She reminds me of Ariana Grande, who sings about getting smashed, then calls herself a queen and gets upset when fans objectify her.

Ronda Rousey isn't liked by some because she shits on other fighters even when she wins. She's a bad sport whether she wins or loses. Watch her interactions with Miesha Tate and, well, pretty much every other female fighter.

Emma Watson annoyed people by infantalizing women and imploring men to take responsibility for protecting women. How the fuck are you going to tell me women don't need no man, but then basically tell men to man up and sacrifice themselves for women? It's like you just want the benefits of feminism and will still appeal to the patriarchy, just without accepting any responsibilities. That. Is. Not. Equality.

Is Meryl Streep still a supporter of Roman Polanski? I'm not sure you can be a conscience-clear feminist while being cool with a rapist.

Sarah Silverman wanted to get rid of firearms, except when she suggested people should use firearms because she got butthurt over Trump winning.
