I've been reading old Nintendo fansites, and I've noticed a lot of them portray Mario as a glory hog who steals the spotlight from Luigi. Why do people do this? Mario's the mascot of Nintendo, of course he's gonna get most of the spotlight. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't think I've ever once seen someone call Mario a glory hog.

I recall mario having a pretty supportive relationship with luigi outside of that one power tennis where Mario stepping on luigi's shoe after his championship win (which is played for laughs anyway)
