is it true they have a lot of arcades?

I remember seeing or reading something that said there's a lot of arcades in Tokyo.

That's just one of the reasons I've always wanted to visit there, that and to see all the neat sites there is in Tokyo.

I can imagine it's not cheap to stay a few nights or even a round trip flight so I doubt I will ever actually go.

Ehhhh, some are still around but they're kinda shitty arcades now with not a lot of selections. A lot of them closed down due to covid. It's sorta been replaced by Pachinko parlours now >_> I only saw a couple of arcades when I was visiting my homeland last year

Went to Japan in 2008 for a month. Stayed in Ibaraki but visited Tokyo a couple of times. Could always find an arcade fairly easily in both, wouldn't go as far as saying they were everywhere though.

Damn, that's unfortunate to hear but I still would like to visit to see all the landmarks and other stuff Tokyo has to offer. Thanks for answering my question though.

I came back from Japan last month, the only thing I found there was a lot of claw machine stores and capsule coin stores.

Yes, there is a fuck ton of claw machines and gachapon machines too. Like dozens are next to each other in random alleys sometimes >_>
