The things you mention are terrible but people playing it still speaks volumes about its quality. Just a shame Bungie listened to the wrong people (the people who are terminally online and need nonsense goals to work towards because they werent happy with just expansions). Seasons are longer now though and they seem to have learned what to do better. Nintendo shit canned the whole game and started over from literally nothing 5 years ago with Retro Studios because the old developer did such a shitty job they deemed the game is unsalvageable. Remember games don't usually get announced until they're half way in development. What we have is a pretty rare case of a game being announced before they began doing any work on it at all. I'm sure they decided just to hold off on it and use it as a launch title for the Switch 2. I really hope they go back to creating games with a separate single player and multiplayer instead of this psuedo MMO bs.
