Probably just depends on how you evaluate your music. The Beatles were only together for 10 years but have an amazing catalogue of genre bending (and genre inventing) music.
But individually.... Like yeah Paul has an amazing voice but I'm not gonna fault you if you think Plant is better. And Jimmy Page can obviously play circles around George. It's w/e, both are great. One of the annoying things about music discussions is that, there are SO many people who act like their personal preference is an objective truth, and people who like different things are "wrong."

I could see people thinking this if they were more into harder types of rock, I guess. Definitely from an instrumentalist side if that's where your head is at.
But the Beatles as a group were just the premium songwriters. Lennon/McCartney I see as unrivaled in the pop music landscape. And Harrison as well matured into a real serious talent completely in his own right. And they were solid musicians (and in some ways at this point very underrated, comparatively).
