First person point and shoot, got a small variety of weapons. The combat is pretty basic but the game ain't really about it.

It's... serviceable? Combat is more about neutralizing/creating breathing room rather than the murderating.

That said, the death of Dead Space as a franchise makes me sad because I was invested in the story and the lore.

It's best avoided. Generally you can take on humans easily enough but you'll often make a lot of noise doing it and that often draws in other threats...

Smacking walls is kinda funny too. Draws humans in to check on the noise along with an alien, whilst you watch the chaos unfold from inside a locker.

I played Isolation until the part where you have to sneak around all the androids. I hate when one part of a game ruins the whole thing for me.
