Homemade and not even close. I will buy restaurant only when Im too lazy to make it.

Lettuce and peppers are a must for me. I dont really use onions when I make it but a place where I buy it from usually loads too much onion that its almost all you taste.

Both.

Restaurant nachos. I never had homemade nachos that could match it.

Homemade, restaurants never put enough jalapenos and black olives on their nachos.

TGI Fridays used to have the greatest nachos ever. I literally would go there just to get them, then they got rid of them and changed to generic nachos.

Guy fieri's were probably the best resto nachos I've had.

Most ingredients in really good nachos aren't pantry staples for me, so restaurant.

I prefer nachos made with shredded cheese rather than queso sauce.

I love a good homemade nacho. I also love being able to customize them. However, you can't underestimate the joy of having things made for you.

restaurant nachos are better but imo they are not enough better to make it worthwhile. nachos are like a quick lazy snack thing, if I'm bothing to get food at a restaurant I'd get something else

Do you use Corn chips or tortilla chips for your homemade nachos?

I enjoy the nachos I make from home, but tend to default to the same few staple ingredients. It's nice to try new things at restaurants every now and then, like the other day I had wonton nachos with tuna which were delightful.

Unless you're deep frying your own chips then restaurant. Nothing that comes out of a bag can beat some good hand made tortilla chips no matter what you throw on it.

There are people out there delusional enough to bake flour tortillas and insist it's the same thing.

I assume there's a pretty sizeable overlaps between these people and the ones who claim their own cooking is the best on the planet.
