My BF and I sleep in different bedrooms about 80% of the time. He's sleeps pretty poorly and tends to go to bed after I do and is awake before I am. I'm a pretty light sleeper. He snores somewhat frequently and he enjoys having a nightstand fan going full blast on his face and I find that much stimulation stirring.

Different bedroom is simply optimal for us. We'll share the master bed with the same set of covers when we actually go to bed at the same time.

To somewhat make up for this, we'll often cuddle on the couch when we're awake and home together.

If I had a girlfriend, my wife would probably make me sleep on the couch.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Have they gotten tested for sleep apnea?

When I spend the weekend at my gf's place we sleep in the same bed, using the same covers.

Have you tried sleeping with earplugs to block out some of that stimulation? My gf is a light sleeper, so she wears earplugs most nights.

Same bed, different covers, so that no one will hog all of the cover.

I never understood why anyone shares a bed with someone every night, even if they're having sex every night. I can see if it's a situation where they only have one bedroom with room enough for one bed. But someone with a house and a spare room, why do you choose to sleep next to someone and smell their farts and deal with them waking you up when they have to pee?

Nope, lmao. Too proud.

It's more "back nasal" snorting than breathing in through the mouth. There's no gasping, choking, or paused breathing from what I can tell.
