If I were a mod I'd start no actioning everything unless it was serious tbh.

They'd eventually catch me but it would be worth it.

They are oversensitive at the moment for a decision they knew would have a back lash with.

People are clearly paying attention more that moderations on here isn't because you always say or do something heinous, it's dependent on how good the mood of the moderator is & if they feel like slotting it into a category for a mark or not.

I would propose that all of the mods who were doing all this on a volunteer basis just collectively stop at the same time in protest, sort of like the Reddit moderators were able to do, but honestly I'd be willing to bet that fandom is kind of hoping something like that happens so they have an easy excuse to just shut the whole thing down.

Careful, if we drive away all the mods theyll use that as excuse to close the boards due to lack of moderation

Their mistake was them being willing to become a moderator here. Who looks at this place and thinks, "Yes, I can fix them."

What's funny is that they are purposely working against their own positions. Once the forums are gone, the mods will be too.

Unfortunately the good mods are getting pruned now

I mean, I also was sometimes playing with the thought of applying to become a mod like "you know, I can't always say that this place is bad without putting in the effort to make it better myself".

Like, some kind of social service.

But then I always chickend out and was like "nah, not worth it".

I agree with TC. At this point it's just liking pain.

Fandom will just appoint new mods. Someone already suggested this. Or worse, they'll appoint FANDOM mods to police Gamefaqs.
