First thing I'm looking into is a bench press. Any suggestions for an average size room fellas?

Marcy BE1000 Adjustable Starter Workout Weight Bench at Argos. It's got an incline/decline bench, leg press and preacher pad.

Get a curl bar and dumbbell set.

1) Highly suggest anti-fatigue floor mats, sometimes also called horse stall mats. Don't let your floors get messed up by the weights.

2) Is the bench going to be stationary? Or will the room be multi-use, and you're gonna want something that can fold up and lean against the wall?
