Reconnected with an ex after many years. We weren't mature enough at the time. She's still not mature enough or stable enough in her life on even basic things like housing for tomorrow.

I don't care what he thinks. I had to get the police involved to mediate. I don't tolerate people sneaking into my car when I'm trying to leave a situation and then threatening me with restraining orders.

Also, not fun when the cops open up your rear hatch without even asking. Had to tell the officer point blank I never consented to that. "Just trying to help" doesn't allow you to violate laws.

Also, why are cops now involved? Sounds sus...

I leave the house and she runs into my car. She calls the cops, I call the cops. No physical contact or anything. I was able to leave after the cops arrive.

I'm just furious about the blatant fourth amendment violation. I don't care if you're helping me search for any items that might belong to her. I was doing that as a courtesy. No consent was given and I never asked for help.
