I have no problems eating mangoes. But once every blue moon (like most recently last month) my mouth gets a little itchy after having eaten some mangoes and there's some redness around my mouth.

Same thing happened with shrimp. I have no issue with shellfish. Yet I just ate shrimp and an hour later the area around my mouth feels slightly swollen or inflamed it's weird. I eat shrimp every week and this happens maybe thrice a year? But every time it does I don't know why it happens.

Started getting that with bananas, of all things. Avoided them ~5 years now.
