i came here during the RICE wars

Sometime in 98 probably. It was a little different.and by a little I mean a lot.

I think it was 2004 or 2005. Don't remember much though. >_>

The thing that attracted me to the boards was a topic on the anime boards. There was a user called Puggles who said he had to face a gang or something like that and told people not to worry about him because it was his choice. He ended up dying but it turns out he had committed suicide because he was caught cheating and about to get kicked out of college or something of that nature.

I was like wow, some interesting things happen here. So I stuck around. >_>

Absolutely. It was exactly during the Trump/Clinton election results. Granted, it wasn't exactly my first time here, but it made me a regular with all of the conundrum going on during that time...

Used to frequent the Souls boards off and on, and before THAT I was a semi-reg on Random Insanity. Pissed off a lot of people there too, apparently... and it had nothing to do with politics either. Lmao.

I took a break from gamefaqs for a few years and came back locked out of LUE so tried this out. Can't remember exactly when that was. I remember thinking it was a lot slower than LUE (I think that was the most active board at one time).

Yep I do. It was just before E3 2010, I was coming from the Pokemon boards and I saw a Pokemon topic posted here. I remember asking why Pokemon topics were posted here instead of the Pokemon boards.

I swung by here but it seemed too active. The first time I actually started posting here and hung around for some reason was Kbelf and her boyfriend's band practice and the Discord and ensuing melt down.

yeah, i had just gotten out of a 180 day purgatory from a moderation on PotD so I decided to start coming to CE.

I've been stuck here since.

Every time I'd post da response would be "dats quite da username you got dere", wtf???

2018, lurking. Was fun reading all the general insanity and outrage over whateverthehell was going on then.

i thought it was a crazier cooler potd where the rules didnt matter and everyone embodies the dog wearing sunglasses meme gif.

now its just like potd except very slightly more active and the rules do matter if you wanna stay.
