Simply because they are donators. Donators can spread misinformation, be toxic as fuck and prolly say anything they want to say and almost nothing will happen to them. Have yall experience this before? I leave the place as soon as shit like this happens.

I've only been on 1 small-time streamer's discord channel and I was a top donater tbh lol (only like 50 bucks + some other favors that helped grow his twitch a little bit but not much because he got banned). his channel only had 200-something members. I was a mod too.

I'd unban toxic users if they pm'd me and I thought they weren't THAT bad. Never got in trouble for it i guess because I donated? well other mods would get upset that i'd keep unbanning them but they couldn't do anything about it.

If you block someone on Discord they can still see what you say on a mutual server.

Well I feel bad now but this was 6-7 years ago. I was a pretty different person back then.

I did keep the racists, misogynists, and doxxers banned.

Most of the toxic users I unbanned were just drama causers. It made the community quite active

You're right. They were young tbf. Mainly like late teens lower 20s.

Well pretty much my age at the time too tbf. I didnt think they were that bad like I said. Especially compared to the environment I was in at the time (work related).

The owner was 27 and considered old to us lol
