Yeah I use to think that the whole "What about the children" in terms of gay marriage and such was just a misguided fear, but evidently, it's projection of them, not getting/caring about the matter of consent.

I'm a little curious if there were actually shenanigans done by folks via the described emancipation loophole. Wouldn't surprise me, but it's also those niche situations where you get the truly fucked up "well akschually..." people.
