I'm sure with an election coming up they're bound to be making a push for important last minute legislation to win our votes!

7626's name sounds reasonable at least. I'm sure there's a poison pill in the text, though.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Haven't read it but since Republicans are running the floor right now I'm guessing it's a bill to unban freon because who needs breathable air right?

If I just took these at face value and just went by their names, I'd think they were about the right to repair, stopping price gouging and unnecessary charges, and stopping other exploitive things done by big business. Since Republicans are involved, it's something really stupid and harmful to the average American.

What is all this anti-energy conservation bullshit? Based on reading the beginnings, they're targeting the secretary of energy from wanting to make more energy sustainable at home consumer products, based on the belief that if the standards used could be unfeasible (fusion energy or really any green energy procedure probably), that they can't bring standards up to make them more efficient.

What percentage of those bills are calling for tax breaks and deregulation?

They're all "any sort of efficiency standard is bad" bills.

No tax breaks. All deregulation. I went and finally read them all. Every single one of them limits the power of the Secretary of Energy to create or enforce policy if it's "too expensive" for the manufacturers.

Thanks for wading through all that.
Did you also see the amendments for 6192? I've gotta start looking for these.

its name sounds reasonable, but what they want to do is keep around old air conditioning technology that has been getting phased out over the last 10 years because it's far less efficient and worse for the environment.
