Pai Meis Cantonese. Wtf is this? They can sub every other scene except for Cantonese? This is embarrassing for Netflix.

If you know Spanish (or heck at this point even French) you can put on those subtitles and they'll subtitle pai Mei interestingly enough. But the hack I did was turn on English audio description for his part, wherein the audio describer actually does give a translation interpretation. Netflix/movies are so weird sometimes ... All streaming services ive come across are lazy af when it comes to subtitles. Non-english language in english movies not being subbed, literally no option for english subs that isnt hearing impaired subtitles eg. Wind blows quietly/door creaks silently etc.

My favorite is when a Korean show with other languages, like Cantonese, doesn't have the other languages subbed
