That's my preferred method to eat ramen noodles. Water drained out, maybe a fried egg and some spring onions and garlic and sesame oil or something like that

my god if you say it's just called soupless ramen..

I used to prefer it w/ less broth when I was younger, but I prefer it w/ broth now.

Fried / poached egg and some green onions on top also dope.

I like it with broth if it's good instant ramen like Shin.

Cheap stuff I always drain the water out.

Or you can buy Indomie noodles, which specifically tells you to mix the FIVE seasoning packs together on a plate/bowl, then put all the drained noodles in and mix it. If you don't have an Asian market, my Kroger has it.

Indomie is so cool for all the ways to mix and match the flavors, but Shin is definitely my favorite of the instant ramen.

Just pouring the water out of your instant ramen doesn't make it soba, tho. Pretty sure soba uses a different type of noodle.
