Just going to list three places I'd like to visit at some point.
1. Albany, Georgia - the pecan capital of the world. Pecan is my favorite kind of pie so I'd like to see what kind they offer. 2. Memphis, Tennessee - Uncle Lou's Fried Chicken was on an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and the food looked so damn good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dBMeYoEsk4 3. Las Vegas, Nevada and the surrounding areas - Less for the gambling and tiddy bars then to visit some spots from Fallout: New Vegas since I've played it so much. --- Any last one-liners before I go ape on you? - Hoss Delgado Mmm, toast some marshmallows for me too Mailman.- Chris Paul ... Where we've already been
Like Elvis-O-Rama, the Tupperware Museum The Boll Weevil Monument and Cranberry World The Shuffleboard Hall Of Fame, Poodle Dog Rock And The Mecca of Albino Squirrels We've been to ghost towns, theme parks, wax museums And the place where you can drive through the middle of a tree We've seen alligator farms and tarantula ranches But there's still one thing we gotta see The biggest ball of twine in Minnesota --- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact. Everything else, is theory. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It really depends on what you're into. There's different destinations depending on what you want to get into. Personally I'm a foodie and don't need a lot of "extra" apart from good food. On that front a couple good places I've been to are Savannah, GA and New Orleans. The latter has way more options on other entertainment like museums, shows, etc. I've hit up Key West as well and it was good, but it's such a tiny place you'll probably run out of options in a few days. For theme parks there's mainly the big ones: Disney and Universal. The east coast versions also have Busch Gardens in day trip distance if you like roller coasters. I don't know how much can compare to those, even if there's a smattering of others around. I'm not much of a camper type but I know Yellowstone gets the most play from national parks. There's also the redwood and sequoia forests, and Crater Lake park. And the Appalachians are good for leaves changing in the fall (Vermont or the tourist-y area around Pigeon Forge are good for that). Culture wise, New York City, Washington DC, and San Francisco are probably highlights. That's for things like museums, plays, etc. Two of those have really good food options but you'll have to be more picky from the sheer selections available. There's lots of other things around of course. I tried to list the "big" ones, but like I said I dunno exactly what you're looking for in terms of that, hidden gems, or more kitschy stuff like Loafy mentioned. ... Copied to Clipboard!
