Added something necessary. Just a fine isn't enough, people in charge need to see the inside of a jail cell and be there for a very long time. Otherwise a fine will be the cost of business. Someone's life needs to be ruined and needs to be the higher ups.

At this point there needs to be a very public inquisition to see what's really going on. Also yeah they definitely killed that whistleblower -- he was getting ready to go see his mother over the weekend and they asked him to stay an extra day. Then he just dies.

It's a fucking travesty that the government hasn't completely destroyed Boeing yet.
It's like they can't b/c Boeing is too big to fail, but if you don't break them the fuck up, they'll continue to be TBTF.
And all the executives need to be in jail for hundreds of counts of murder plus one count for each for hiring a hitman.

I would say more about what should be done to them, but I suspect when it's "white collar" killers, you're not allowed to...say what they actually deserve... on here

Unless its a new plane (probably isnt), then its most likely 0% Boeings fault. Planes need regular maintenance and inspection from their owners (airlines), and when they screw up sometimes things like this can happen.

A lot of these incidents are on the airline, not the manufacturer. This probably wouldn't have happened if Southwest maintained their fleet properly.
